we do not offer refunds
for any reason.
**Chicks will range anywhere between 24-72 hours old**
-Sexing-
*As we embark on our journey, we are committed to delivering accurate sexing of chicks. We are offering a 90% guarantee at this time. However, if an order is found to be over the 10%, we will gladly provide replacement chicks with the next available hatch or issue store credit. Please note that sexing discrepancies must be reported within 14 to 22 weeks for the majority of our breeds, while Salmon Faverolle can be submitted as early as 4 weeks. Please note photos will be needed for verification. Currently, we do not offer sexing for bantams.
-Live Guarantee-
*We offer a live guarantee for up to 24 hours following pickup or delivery. While we do not issue refunds, we will provide a replacement chick with the next available hatch or offer store credit. We require a picture of the said chick. Please send us a message.
**Ellabea Hatchery will not cover losses that occur outside of a controlled environment, such as a broody hen.*
-Cancellation-
*Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations on orders. However, we may be able to provide store credit on a case-by-case basis.
-Chick Quality-
*We will offer a replacement chick with the next available hatch or provide store credit for issues such as cross beak, curled toes, spraddle legs, and other physical defects. Please report these concerns within 72 hours. Cross beak issues can be reported until the chick is 6 weeks old. We kindly ask for photos. Feel free to message us.
-Substitution Policy-
When you place your order, kindly inform us if you are open to accepting substitutions in the event that a breed does not hatch as anticipated, or if you prefer to receive store credit instead.
**We will not credit more than the original purchase price for anything**
-Band Colors-
To assist in identifying different breeds, we will automatically band the chicks. Roosters will receive double bands. Please make sure to remove bands within a week. We do not ban the Gray Japanese Bantams or the silkies. If you would prefer your chicks to be unbanded, kindly ensure to check the appropriate box at checkout.
